Trophy of life

You hold in your hand
a trophy of your life
polished, shined
winners symbol,
nothing to hide.

You are used to by now
make it look shined,
polish it for others
for them not to see
the inner side,
only outer shell
golden glow that blinds.

To plant the seed of envy
in their hearts
when you know
it is just a show
you make them want
to hold your
trophy of life.

Wonderful poem! Love the way you wrote it! A great perspective on how people only care about the outside of things. Good job! Hope to see more from you. Have hope, write on!

Wow! This is amazing. I love how the poem is simple but has more than one meaning. Also, the image matches perfectly with the poem itself. I absolutely love it! Reading this poetry of yours reminded me why I subscribed to you at the first place.
